Illuminating Engineering Society Of North America (IESNA)

International Commission On Illumination

Light Right Consortium (LRC)
LRC provides recommendations to put the Light Right research results into action and increase the liklihood that the office workers are comfortable and satisfied. Based on this research LRC has developed a bochure to highlight the areas in which lighting can contribute to positive business outcomes.

The New Buildings Institute serves as a carrier of ideas between states and regions, researchers and the market for making buildings better for people and the environment. It's Advanced Lighting Guidelines includes graphics and lighting design solutions for typical building or space types, including offices, conference rooms, grocery stores, specialty/boutique stores, classrooms and gas station canopy lighting.

United States Green Building Council (USGBC)
The United States Green Building Council (USBGC)  is the non-profit organization that developed the LEED certification, which sets standards for energy efficient construction. LEED is an internationally recognized green building system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
